Blue tit
Cyanistes caeruleus
Plumage in blue, yellow, green and white with a yellow breast and distinctive blue cap. Juveniles have more yellow cheeks with a less distinctive cap.
Habitat: common in woodland, hedgerows, parks and gardens.
Distribution: resident and seen all year round. Throughout the UK except some areas of Northern and Western Isles of Scotland.
