Spotted flycatcher

Pale grey brown wings and back with a streaked head. Their whitish under parts are lightly streaked with brown on the breast.

Habitat: can be seen in woods, parks and gardens, often darting after passing insects before returning to its perch.

Distribution: throughout the UK, although scarce in the far north and west.
