First recorded

Record the first time you see a fruiting body of fly agaric. Fruiting bodies appear in August and can be seen until October.

The cap colour fades with age and the scales can be washed off with rain.  If a specimen is flat topped or ragged at the edges it may have been up a while and should not be recorded.

Available historic data: we have good records from 1999
